  End of 2006
So here's how I end 2006.

Lasts:

Last book read: Completely, it was Trojan Odyssey by Clive Cussler. I'm halfway through The Stand by Stephen King

Last movie watched: English was The Day After Tomorrow. Hindi was Main Hoon Na.

Last song heard: Amsterdam by Coldplay (awesome song, btw)

Last place visited: Price Chopper, for shopping; recreationally, the Mandarin at Yonge & Eglinton for the festivus dinner

Last website visited: Facebook (is anyone really surprised at this? :P)

Favorites:

Favorite movie: English, American Beauty; Hindi, Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara

Favorite book: This is a tough one. I like each book differently, so I'll give this one a pass

Favorite author: Stephen King. The man knows how to write a good book.

Favorite TV show: Lost. A very close 2nd, close enough to warrant mention, is 24.

Favorite vacation spot: A small town called Puri, on the eastern coast of India. The breeze that comes off the sea is heavenly, and more potent than any sleeping pill ever invented.

Favorite part of 2006: That's tough too. From the CUSG tournament at the beginning of the year to the unexpectedly good marks at the end, the year had quite a few highs. I'll take a pass on this one too.

Favorite Quote: "There is nothing like the sight of an amputated spirit; there is no prosthetic for that" Al Pacino in Scent of a Woman

The Rest:

Overall opinion on 2006: Can't complain. There were some changes, but change is good.

What would make 2007 better?: World peace (I hope all the people who have seen Miss Congeniality get this joke) In all seriousness, though, if things keep going the way they are, that'll be just fine by me. For others, I hope you all receive the strength to fight whatever troubles may come your way, and the wisdom to use that strength wisely.

Ideal job: Gold digger :P

Best news of 2006: Youtube being sold for $1.65 Billion (US?). I did the math, and it came out to 875 million for each of the two people on the youtube end. It proved that a good education is the best lottery ticket

That covers everything, I suppose. If I think of anything else, I'll edit this blog and add them.

Happy New Year, everyone! I'll see you on the other side.

Comments:
One of my favourite quotes too. As you can imagine, I'm just running through these old posts.

Name:

"Okay honey, I won't be weird. I'll be whatever you want me to be" --Lester Burnham, American Beauty. The line at the top is a quote from the late great George Carlin. The blog itself are the ramblings of a guy in a place doing a thing. You may not always care, but you'll always be entertained. Maybe. 60% of the time, you'll enjoy it everytime.
